Talk: When the exchange of power is unequal. (+ Shibari Jam)

This talk presented by Pauline Massimo is an introduction to her experiments, research and discoveries in relation to power relations that lead to certain inequalities and how they affect not only individuals but also a whole network of interconnected relationships.

Pauline will begin with her presentation, where she will address complex and nuanced topics that take time and space to develop. Even in a reduced time of 1 hour of talk with a time for questions and debate at the end and its conclusion is ultimately an invitation to more conversations and open ourselves to listen to each other and delve into these issues.

About Pauline:

Pauline Massimo, with roots in Brazil and feet in Barcelona, co-founder of Espacio Nos and Learn Shibari.

He has been very active, intense and pro-active in the Shibari area for almost a decade, exercising multiple roles as visual artist, performer, instructor, organizer, apprentice, researcher, mentor, and much more nationally and internationally. His way of feeling, experiencing and exposing Shibari, part of his interdisciplinary and multifaceted base where he explores the infinities of relationships with other disciplines and ways of co-existing in the world with strong ties in radical politics, social constructions, neurodivergence, etc. .

As an agenero person, he does not have pronouns or gender reference but he does not care that neutral terms are used  his person (elle, for example).

Regardless of previous experience or not, this talk as well as other similar events help us to get to know each other better, listen to them, share and grow together. We invite you to join this talk and participate with respect and wanting to share and learn.

This talk is done in person, with a very limited capacity.
