Shibari Initiation Workshop (Workshop 1)

WORKSHOP 1 (INITIATION) Class content:  • Didactic and informative material in writing and additional explanation live.  • Keys to using consensus, consent and communication during Shibari.  • Safety keys and how to avoid accidents for the people who tie and those who are tied.  • Review material on the anatomy of Shibari models in writing and live review.  • Introduction and understanding of the most used knots, basic frictions towards the most complex ones. • Single column tie and double column tie, how to do them efficiently and how to master them. • Work of fluidity and movement of the strings and body. 

Requirements:  • No previous experience is necessary. • You need your own strings. • This type of workshop is focused on one person taking the role of tying and another of being tied, it is encouraged to exchange roles in the initiation class and experiment on both sides (it is not mandatory).  • There is the possibility of attending the class as an individual. • There is the possibility of attending the class via Zoom, a link will be sent and the class will be able to access the class during the 24 hours after the class live to those people who cannot attend due to schedule difficulties. People who attend the class via Zoom will not have the possibility to have their exercises reviewed live, but they can ask questions from the chat.
