Workshop 2 (Single-leg and Aguramomo)

WORKSHOP 2 (Hips / legs) 

1) The Single-Leg is a single leg tie including hip support. Two variations will be taught in this class, one to the knee and one to the roll.

2) The Aguramomo is a hybrid tie between an agura (tie with crossed legs like lotus, and futomomo is tie around the bent legs. A variation designed by Pauline Massimo that mixes these two concepts will be made.

Class content:

• Review of basic knowledge applied to the harnesses taught. 

• Explanation of the functionalities of the harnesses taught

• Keys to understand and work on consensus and communication during the practice of Shibari.

• Technical safety keys and minimization of accidents for people who tie and those who are tied related to the harnesses taught.

• Review of the anatomy of the Shibari models applying the harnesses taught and how to prepare for said ties and postures involved. 

• Step-by-step demonstration of how to do them with respective necessary variations according to anatomy or needs of the models present in class.

• Exercises to make the harnesses taught more practical and efficient.

• How to apply the suspension line to each learned tie.

To attend this class:

• Previous experience is necessary, meeting minimum basic knowledge requirements (consult with the organization) or attend the initiation workshop (WORKSHOP 1). 

• Have your own strings. This class requires 3-4 ropes of standard measurements.

Specifications of this workshop:

• This workshop is compatible and recommended to serve as pairs (two people) in which one person takes the role of being tied, and another person takes the role of tie, it is also for those people who want to serve as individuals by tying together .
